Notice to Prospective Bidders

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the BOROUGH OF SEASIDE PARK is seeking qualified SED contractors for the SEASIDE PARK STORMWATER MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT PROJECT in Seaside Park, OCEAN County, New Jersey.

The Borough of Seaside Park will be publicly advertising for the procurement of the following pieces of Stormwater System Maintenance Equipment:

• Mechanical Street Sweeper
• Vacuum Truck
• Trailed Mounted Portable Diesel Generator
• Compact Street Sweeper

The project or contract is funded in part by New Jersey environmental infrastructure financing programs, and the Borough of Seaside Park is seeking successful bidders that can comply with all the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9.1 et seq. for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged (SED) individuals.

For purposes of SED utilization, awards will be made only to socially and economically disadvantaged business concerns that are certified by the New Jersey Commerce, Economic Growth and Tourism Commission, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, New Jersey Transit or other agencies deemed appropriate by the Office as eligible minority businesses or female businesses. The invitation to bid is on an unrestricted basis whereby the successful bidder must fulfill the SED utilization requirements.

A pre-qualification questionnaire has been prepared for interested parties that comply with all the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9.1.  The pre-qualification questionnaire can be made available by contacting Remington & Vernick Engineers.  Contact shall be made by phone or by email at 732-286-9220 or by submitting TR_RVEbidinterest@rve.com.   Per the instructions provided in the questionnaire, the pre-qualification questionnaire shall be submitted via email by November 14th, 2025 at 2:00pm.
