Shredding events throughout Ocean County have been announced for 2026!  Unfortunately Seaside Park will not be hosting one this year. No file folders, pictures, binders, CD’s, credit cards etc. PAPER ONLY! 4 BOX MAX! 

2026 Household Hazardous Waste Events in Ocean County

The Ocean County Department of Solid Waste Management has announced their Household Hazardous Waste Events for 2025.

Use these events to get rid of unwanted:

AEROSOLS, AUTO PRODUCTS, CLEANING PRODUCTS, CHEMICALS/ POOL CHEMICALS, FIRE EXTINGUISHERS,

GASOLINE, HERBICIDES/PESTICIDES, MERCURY-CONTAINING DEVICES, PAINT THINNERS,  

PROPANE TANKS, STAINS, and VARNISHES that you may have in your house or garage, safely and responsibly .  The Borough of Seaside Park strongly encourages you take advantage of these FREE events.  Seaside Park cannot take HHW items for you so please use this service while it is still available!  Online pre-registration is required.   Register here.
